  • Joyce was in Barcelona the week of Sept. 25 for the launch of the Spanish edition of The Scent of Sake!!

  • The Scent of Sake was published on February 17, 2009. Joyce Lebra signed copies at the Tattered Cover LoDo in Denver on March 18th and also at the Boulder Bookstore on March 19th. The novel is available at all Borders stores, many independent bookstores, and on Amazon.com.

  • Joyce is nearly finished writing a novel set in Hawai'i, Cane Fires, and will begin work on Durga's Sword, an historical novel about "India's Joan of Arc," The Rani of Jhansi, where she spent many months in India researching the story. She has also written a non-fiction work on the subject, The Rani of Jhansi; a Study in Female Heroism in India.

  • Joyce Lebra was in Singapore October 17th for the launch of her two books being published by the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies: The Indian National Army and Japan, and Women Against the Raj; the Rani of Jhansi Regiment.
